2012 Marian Gaborik Winter Classic Jersey
Not since the days of Pavel Bure has the NHL seen a sniper with the combination of explosive acceleration and wicked release of Marian Gaborik. The man they call Gabby broke into the league with the Minnesota Wild, and despite playing in a stifling defensive system under coach Jacques Lemaire, Gaborik showed fans just how much talent he had, routinely pulling them out of their seats with breathtaking rushes up the ice.
Unfortunately, Gaborik was also injury prone, and just when it seemed like he was poised to put up a huge season statistically he would get sidelined with one ailment or another. However, so far this season with the New York Rangers Gaborik looks like he might finally have that big statistical year. He is currently tied for the league lead in goals with 22 and his 33 points give him the team lead in that category.
