Jordan Eberle wasted no time making an impact in the NHL. In his first NHL regular season game, Eberle posted a goal and an assist. Even more impressive was the fact that the goal came short-handed and was a thing of beauty. Eberle flew down the right wing, faked defenseman Ian White to the ground, curling and dragging the puck around the helpless d-man’s outstretched stick and then pulled a sweet deke on Miikka Kiprusoff before beating the Finnish netminder to the backhand.
