Before Trevor Linden, Pavel Bure, Markus Naslund and most recently Henrik and Daniel Sedin came along there was no question in anyone’s mind who the greatest Vancouver Canucks player of all time was Stan “Steamer” Smyl was Mr. Everything for the Canucks back in the 1980s and he played his entire career with the club, scoring 262 goals and notching 673 points. He was a key reason the Canucks reached the Stanley Cup Finals in 1982 and Stan Smyl jerseys still remain a popular choice among Canucks fans old and young.
