It is hard to imagine that at one point Joe Thornton was considered a "bubble" player among the hopefuls to crack Team Canada's 2010 Olympic hockey squad. No player has scored more points over the past decade than "Jumbo Joe" and he is once again challenging for top spot in the race for the Art Ross Trophy. Ultimately this towering, talented player could not be ignored and he, along with San Jose Sharks linemates Patrick Marleau and Dany Heatley, will be representing Canada come February.
