Dino Ciccarelli started off his career with a bang, scoring 14 goals in the playoffs of his rookie campaign to help the Minnesota North Stars reach the Stanley Cup Finals. Ciccarelli would make a habit of scoring goals over the remainder of his career – 608 in fact – and his 1,200 career points put him in elite company. He twice eclipsed the 50 goal and the 100 point mark and went over the 30 goal mark on 12 separate occasions. Despite the fact he never won a Stanley Cup he is still one of the Hall’s most notable exclusions – a glaring omission that will hopefully be corrected in the not-too-distant future.
