One of the greatest goaltenders in hockey history, Vladislav Tretiak stands alongside legends like Jacques Plante, Terry Sawchuk, Patrick Roy, and Ken Dryden. Tretiak’s star really rose with his incredible performance in the 1972 Summit Series, where he stymied some of Canada’s most potent offensive weapons. He went on to a long and distinguished international career with the Russian Red Army Team, and is one of the most respected figures in the sport to this day.
