Though he spent half of his career with the Canadiens and the Red Wings the man known as “The Big M” enjoyed his best years as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Before a contentious relationship with coach Punch Imlach eventually drove him out of town Imlach racked up nearly 300 goals in a blue and white sweater, and was one of the team’s best players during their last dominant era.
