Sometimes small players make a really big impact, and this was never truer than in the case of Doug Gilmour. The guy they called “Killer” had a heart so big it is amazing it could fit within the confines of his chest. Crafty, supremely talented and with enough grit for a player twice his size, Gilmour quickly became a fan favorite among Leafs faithful, and in 1993 he led the team to game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals.
